Samuel Jaggard is the artist behind Lucky Stars Tattoo, specialising in custom black and grey realism.

An artist from a young age, Sam’s creative background spans traditional art, airbrushing and graphic design. Years spent developing detailed airbrush techniques helped shape his understanding of light, contrast, texture and composition, skills that now form an important part of his approach to realism tattooing.

Sam is passionate about creating original tattoos that feel personal to the individual wearing them. Rather than relying on generic or repeated designs, each custom piece is developed around the client’s ideas, placement and individual vision.

His favourite subjects include portraits, animals, musicians, film and pop-culture imagery, mythology, statues and darker cinematic concepts. Wherever possible, Sam enjoys adding an original creative element to a concept so that the finished tattoo has its own identity rather than feeling like something that has been seen countless times before.
